About the exhibition:
We of the Mountains: A Survey of Armenian-American Art brings together artists from the Los Angeles area to exhibit work in a variety of media. The curators chose to keep an open theme for the exhibition to reflect ideas that arise under the contemporary Armenian-American context. Their hope is to spark a dialogue on the ways that our cultural identities affect our interpretations of the things around us and how that is represented through the art that we make.
